Roma, 23 maggio 2019 – “Il Patto per la Salute in itinere rappresenta un’occasione immancabile per rendere ancora più alta l’attenzione del nostro sistema sanitario nei confronti della persona. Una sensibilità verso il tema dell’umanizzazione delle cure, del dolore e delle cure palliative avviata con il vecchio Patto per la Salute, che dobbiamo capitalizzare e non disperdere”. E’ quanto ha dichiarato Francesco Bevere, Direttore generale di AGENAS (Agenzia Nazionale per i servizi sanitari Regionali), in occasione della XVIII Giornata Nazionale del Sollievo. “I risultati dell’ultimo programma di promozione e misurazione dell’umanizzazione delle cure effettuato da AGENAS, che ha visto la partecipazione convinta di tutte le Regioni e delle Province autonome dimostra che siamo già sulla strada giusta – prosegue Bevere -. L’istituzione di un Osservatorio nazionale per l’umanizzazione delle cure e dei luoghi di cura presso AGENAS, sede naturale di realizzazione delle attività di monitoraggio e da anni impegnata su questo tema, consentirebbe, assieme a tutte le Regioni, di rilevare costantemente ed omogeneamente il miglioramento del grado di umanizzazione dei nostri ospedali e in ogni luogo di cura, nonché di monitorare l’attivazione di reti delle cure palliative, come affermato dal Ministro Grillo”. “Non dimentichiamo che l’umanizzazione delle cure è tra le dimensioni più rilevanti per valutare la performance delle strutture sanitarie, poiché siamo fermamente convinti che ognuno di noi, soprattutto nei momenti di maggiore fragilità, abbia diritto ad essere accolto in un luogo che esprima interventi sanitari di alta intensità ma che, parallelamente, sia capace di saper accogliere e prendersi cura delle persone, anche dal punto di vista umano. E questo, per chi è abilitato a misurare le performance degli ospedali, farà la differenza”, conclude Bevere.
