Roma, 28 gennaio 2021 – Al 27 gennaio hanno completato il ciclo del vaccino anti Covid con la seconda dose 270.269 persone, pari allo 0,45% della popolazione italiana ma, con marcate differenze regionali: si va infatti dallo 0,16% della Calabria allo 0,70% del Lazio. Inoltre, ben 350.548 dosi, pari a oltre il 23% sono state somministrate a personale non sanitario, una fascia non prevista dal Piano vaccinale. A evidenziarlo è un’analisi indipendente della Fondazione Gimbe, basata sui dati ufficiali.
Secondo il piano vaccinale le categorie da vaccinare con priorità sono 3: operatori sanitari e sociosanitari (a cui sono andate finora il 67,1% dosi), personale ed ospiti delle RSA (finora 9,7% dosi) e persone over 80 anni (0,9% dosi). Il personale non sanitario, che comunque lavora negli ospedali a vario titolo, ha beneficiato dunque, pur come categoria non prevista, “di quasi un quarto delle dosi finora somministrate con enormi differenze regionali che in alcuni casi superano il 30%, come in Provincia Autonoma di Bolzano 34%, Liguria 39% e Lombardia 51%”. Alla luce di questa discrepanza tra numeri previsti dal Piano e le diverse policy vaccinali attuate dalle Regioni, le dosi previste dal Piano vaccinale per gli operatori sanitari “non sono sufficienti perché rimangono esclusi tutti quelli che non lavorano presso strutture pubbliche”. Altro nodo restano i ritardi nelle consegne. Al netto di ritardi di consegne, entro il 31 marzo 2021 il nostro Paese dovrebbe disporre di 16,5 milioni di dosi, di cui 8,7 milioni da Pfizer-BioNTech e 1,3 milioni da Moderna e 6,4 milioni da AstraZeneca, anziché i 16,1 milioni previsti dal Piano vaccinale. “Con queste disponibilità – puntualizza il presidente Gimbe Nino Cartabellotta – solo il 14% della popolazione (circa 8,278 milioni di persone) potrà completare le due dosi del ciclo vaccinale, ma non prima della metà o addirittura della fine di aprile”.
